The praesidium started in 1999. Some of the works done include visiting resthomes, helping in the church as Eucharistic ministers and ministers of the Word, running the Junior Legion, church cleaning, assisting the patients in Northshore Hospital on First Sunday of each month to attend the mass, carol singing in resthomes, leading the yearly Rosary procession in October, RCIA, door knocking, etc.
